    Healthy Green Smoothie

Since I forgot to wear green today, I needed to make my ancestors proud and at least EAT something green. Plus, how could I say no to all those antioxidants and vitamin C? These smoothies are thick, creamy, and oh so satisfying.

You can whip these bad boys up in under 5 minutes. They're perfect for breakfast, a  mid-day snack, or healthy St. Patrick's Day treat!

    Smoothie Basics

Thick, creamy texture: use a more traditional Greek yogurt. If you want it thinner try using Stoneyfield, Fage, or Chobani.

Keep it sweet or tart: Kiwis can be quite tart. If you need to sweeten it up add additional honey.

Celebrate those roots 🇮🇪: with such a vibrant green interior you'd think kiwis would be a good natural food dye... wrong. To make it green start by adding ¼ cup spinach or kale and adding more as needed. You can also use green food coloring  instead.

    Kiwi Banana Smoothie

Much like myself, kiwis are only fuzzy on the outside 🥝 thankfully they’re green on the inside so I could use them in this St. Patrick’s Day Kiwi Banana Smoothie. The perfect blend of tart and sweet to give you a creamy, nutrient packed breakfast or snack!
